DaSilva Memorial Field is home to the men's lacrosse and women's track and field teams, and has a seating capacity of 1,200. The field was resurfaced in the summer of 2004 to incorporate the new FieldTurf surface. In 2010, the University completed the D'Angelo Center, a 127,000-square foot, five story student center that is adjacent to the field. In 2010, the Red Storm Lacrosse team posted a 3-3 record in front of its home-town crowd. The Red Storm wowed fans with a stunning overtime victory over Vermont while hosting eventual national runner-up Notre Dame and then-no. 2 Syracuse. St. John's broke its previous attendance record on Senior Day as 1,508 fans came to watch the Red Storm take on the Orange. The Red Storm Track and Field team hosts numerous spring events on the DaSilva Memorial Track, such as its annual spring Monday Night Meeting.
