What is a booster?

NCAA rules indicate that once an individual has been identified as a “representative of St. John's University athletics interests, they are a “booster” of the athletics program, a designation on retains forever, even if they are no longer involved with the athletics program A representative of St. John's University athletics interest, or booster, is an individual or business that:

• Is or ever has been a contributor to the RedWhite Club or any of the specific sports at St. John’s University, has ever been an employee of St. John's University, or has ever made a donation of any kind to a St. John's University men’s or women’s athletic program, has ever been involved in any way with any of St. John's University’s athletic programs.
• Has ever purchased season tickets for any of St. John's University’s athletic programs, is the spouse of an employee of St. John's University, has ever helped to arrange or provide summer employment for enrolled student-athletes or for prospects who have signed an NLI with St. John's University.
