Graduate Assistant, Sports Performance
A High Point, North Carolina, native, Golden attended East Carolina University where he received his bachelors' degree in Kinesiology in 2012.
After graduation he worked as a Volunteer Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at his alma mater. While at HPU, Golden was responsible for the design and implementation of training programs for the men's and women's cross country teams, along with men's and women's golf squads. Also while at HPU, he assisted with the implementation of programs for men's and women's Basketball, men's and women's Lacrosse, baseball, men's and women's track and field, men's and women's soccer, and volleyball.
After HPU, Golden obtained a Volunteer Assistant position at Mississippi State University. While in Starkville, Golden was responsible for training student athletes that were unable to attend team training sessions. Golden also assisted with the implementation of programs for baseball, volleyball, women's Soccer, men's and women's tennis, and softball.
After his stint at MSU, Golden worked in the same capacity at Wake Forest University. At Wake, Golden assisted with the implementation of programs for men's basketball, women's tennis, field hockey, and women's soccer.
Golden holds certification through the CSCCA (SCCC), NSCA (CSCS), and USAW.
