Justin Cude joined the St. John's Strength and Conditioning staff as a graduate assistant in the summer of 2015.
As a graduate assistant with the Red Storm, Cude is in charge devising and implementing strength and conditioning programs for a number of nationally St. John's competitive programs, including men's and women's and fencing. Cude also assists with all of other varsity teams at St. John's.
Prior to his arrival at St. John's, Cude worked for six months as a strength and conditioning intern at LSU, where he assisted with all sports, including the Tigers' nationally ranked football squad.
Before his time with in Baton Rouge, Cude worked for a year and a half as an intern volunteer with the strength and conditioning department at his alma mater, East Carolina University. While with the Pirates, Cude assisted with facility maintenance and aided coaches and trainers with the implementation of their programs.
An avid amateur boxer, Cude has taught the sweet science at a recreational level for years, offering classes to interested athletes and staff members at a number of institutions.
Cude graduated from ECU in May of 2015 with a bachelors degree in kinesiology, focusing in health fitness.
