As a Junior (2006)
Hit .366 with eight home runs, 46 RBI and 40 runs in 57
games … earned first team All-BIG EAST honors as a designated
hitter … was second on the team with eight homers and 13 multi-RBI
games and was tied for second with 46 RBI and 25 walks ... ranked
third among Red Storm hitters with a .447 on-base percentage … led
the team and ranked sixth in the BIG EAST with a .406 batting

Villanova (March 24-26), going 6-for-10 with four runs scored and
three walks … went 2-for-5 with a double and a run at College of
Charleston (March 12) … hit a two-run single and was hit by a pitch
at Charleston Southern (March 7) … hit a three-run triple and a
sacrifice fly on his way to a career-high four RBI at East
Tennessee State (March 5) … went 1-for-3 with a home run and two
RBI at then-No. 4 Rice (Feb. 24).
As a Sophomore (2005)
Appeared in 42 games and made 31 starts as a position
player, and appeared in 10 games (seven starts) as a pitcher … hit
.267 with three home runs, eight doubles, 23 RBI and 17 runs scored
at the plate … went 1-2 with a 7.58 ERA and 20 strikeouts in 29.2
innings on the mound … picked up his production late, with hits in
nine of his last 10 regular season games and RBI in his last six
games of the regular season … hit .300 (15-50) with 10 RBI and six
walks in 16 games in May … walked seven times in his last 15 games
of the season after walking three times in the first 32 games … had
a season-long six-game hit streak from May 3-14, over which he hit
.368 with a home run, three RBI and three runs … led the team with
14 pinch-hit appearances … had a 1.50 ERA in three relief
appearances (one ER in six innings) … was 1-0 with a 2.77 ERA and
