On Jasiulionis: A tough, determined competitor
with great size and a tremendous wingspan … a skillful for a big
man who can post up inside and also step out and hit the 3-pointer
… displays a full array of post moves and can shoot over both
shoulders … can wall opponents on defense and is a good
shot-blocker … pronounced “TAH-miss YES-uh-low-niss.”
Norm Roberts on Jasiulionis: “Tomas has really
improved his explosiveness as well as his body. He has really
worked hard in the weight room and improved his ability to get up
off the floor. He is extremely skilled. He is a guy that can face
up to the basket and has a power game inside. We are going to look
for Tomas to have more of a role this year inside. He has done a
better job of rebounding the basketball and is becoming more of a
physical presence every day.”
