Made 10 appearances, including eight starts, during an injury-shortened season... compiled a 4-1 record with a 2.45 ERA... struck out 40 batters and surrendered just 10 walks... registered the win in the Red Storm's season opener, surrendering three runs over six innings as the Johnnies downed Western Carolina (Feb. 17)... picked up his second-straight win against Kansas State, allowing just one earned run on four hits with no walks and six punch outs in 6.1 frames of work (Feb. 24)... carried a no-hitter into the sixth inning against Appalachian State and struck out seven to improve to 3-0 on the season (March 3)... struck out two in a perfect inning of relief against FDU after missing nearly two months with injury (April 23)... picked up the win against Iona, allowing just one hit and one walk in two innings of work (May 2)... got the start against Xavier in the second game of a doubleheader, allowing one run in 2.1 frames of action (May 14)... struck out six in 3.2 scoreless innings against Villanova (May 19)... came up huge for the Red Storm in an elimination game against Seton Hall in the BIG EAST Tournament , striking out seven and surrendering just two runs in five innings of work (May 27)... had a career outing in the NCAA Regional despite picking up his lone loss of the season, setting career-highs for innings pitched (7.0), strikeouts (8) and pitches (101), while retiring 15-straight UNC Greensboro batters between the second and seventh innings (June 3).
As a Sophomore (2016):
Made 10 appearances, eight of which were starts… compiled a 1-5 record with a 4.72 ERA… struck out 28 batters while surrendering only 11 walks… made his first start of the season at UNCW, picking up the loss (Feb. 20)… made one of two relief appearances on the campaign, tossing two innings of one-hit ball and striking out three in the first game of a double-header against La Salle (March 26)… allowed three hits and one earned run while striking out six in 4.0 innings of work against Georgetown (April 10)… picked up the win after striking out six and allowing two runs in 5.1 frames at Villanova (April 17)… surrendered just one run in 5.2 innings of work at Xavier (April 24)… threw 3.2 innings of one-run relief in the BIG EAST Tournament against Xavier (May 26).
As a Freshman (2015)
Made 13 appearances, including six starts ... went 2-3 with a 7.36 ERA and 16 strikeouts in 25.2 innings of work ... started and earned the win with 2.0 innings of one-run ball on a staff day against Princeton (April 15) ... allowed three runs, one earned, in 2.2 innings of work in a start against Columbia (April 8) ... had four strikeouts in 3.2 innings of scoreless relief to earn the win against Saint Peter's (March 24) ... tossed 2.2 shutout frames of relief against Holy Cross (March 15) ... had two strikeouts and allowed four runs, two earned, in 2.1 innings of work in first-career start and collegiate-debut at then-No. 19 Kennesaw State (Feb. 14).
