QUEENS, N.Y. -
Winners of nine of the past 10 games, St. John's (13-10), which won two-of-three games in a series at Villanova to open BIG EAST play, returns home and begins a brief four-game homestand with a non-conference midweek game against Maryland (16-9). The Red Storm and Terrapins take to the field at 3 p.m. on March 28.
The Terrapins are the second of three ACC schools on the regular season schedule. The Red Storm was defeated by then-No. 6 UNC (Feb. 28) and will play Boston College (April 24) in a neutral site game at Dodd Stadium in Norwich, Conn.

With a solo home run against NYIT (March 20), Jeremy Baltz now has 34 home runs in his career and is just one round-tripper shy of tying the school-record of 35 shared by Robert Lambraia and Chris Fallon.
Matt Wessinger continues to move up the list in the all-time hits category and now ranks eighth with 225. Next up on the list: Charlie Bilezikjian with 232.
