At Findlay Prep: Rated as high as the nation's No. 68 overall player and the No. 15 small forward of the Class of 2011 by recruiting services ... transferred to Findlay Prep (Henderson, Nev.) for his senior season ... averaged 12.3 points and 5.7 rebounds on a team that would go 28-4, earn a Top 25 national ranking and yield four NCAA Division I prospects ... named the MVP of the Jack Jones Shootout in Memphis, Tenn. ... selected the MVP and slam dunk champion of the 2011 Ball Is Life All-American game ... his coach at Findlay was Mike Peck.

In Professional Baseball: A top 20 prospect in the Cincinnati Reds organization ... likely the only Top 100 college basketball recruit with a 96 m.p.h. heater ... an accomplished left-handed pitcher on the diamond ... drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the 22nd Round on June 7, signed hours before the MLB deadline on Aug. 15, 2011, and rewarded for his promise of prowess with a handsome $1 million bonus ... signed a contract that allows him to play collegiate basketball with NCAA rules that concur ... Reds pay for his schooling, but he still counts toward the St. John's basketball program's limit of 13 scholarships ... began his professional baseball dream in the Reds' minor league system during the summer of 2012 ... made his debut in the rookie-level Arizona League as a member of the AZL Reds in Goodyear, Az. ... made seven appearances and five starts, with 13 strikeouts, 12 walks and holding opposing batters to a .255 average ... promoted to the Billings Mustangs of the Rookie Pioneer League in August of 2012 ... made two starts, striking out five in 6.0 innings and walking only one ... held opposing batters to a .211 average while working the mound for the Mustangs.
