With 18 wins, St. John's has its most victories since finishing 21-13 in the 2002-03 season.
St. John's also has 10 BIG EAST wins for the first time since 1999-2000 when the squad finished 12-4 in conference play.
St. John's is now 420-80 (.840) all-time in Carnesecca Arena.
The 22 points DePaul scored in the first half tied for the third-lowest St. John's has allowed in either half this season. The Red Storm also held Ball State and Drake to 22 points in the first and second halves, respectively. St. John's held Drake to 17 points in the first half and limited Notre Dame to 19 points in the first half.
St. John's shot 54.4 percent (31-of-57) from the floor and improved to 8-0 this season when shooting at least 50.0 percent.
The Red Storm tied a season-high with 43 rebounds.
Dwight Hardy scored a game-high 21 points, reaching the 20-point plateau for the 11th time in his career.
D.J. Kennedy scored 11 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to notch his third double-double of the season and 13th of his career. Kennedy ranks third among active BIG EAST players in career double-doubles.
Justin Brownlee grabbed a season-high 10 rebounds. Brownlee has three double-figure rebounding games in his career and is averaging 6.2 rebounds per game in the past five contests.
Paris Horne tallied 14 points to tally his eighth double-figure scoring game of the season and 50th of his career. Horne made a season-high six field goals, including his 139th career 3-pointer.
Dwayne Polee finished with eight points, his most since scoring 12 points at Notre Dame on Jan. 8.
