St. John's advances to the BIG EAST Quarterfinals for the 20th time in program history and for the first time since 2003.

Individual Notes
Dwight Hardy tallied a game-high 17 points to reach double-figures for the 27th time this season. Hardy, who had made at least one 3-pointer in 16-straight games, was held without a 3-pointer for the first time since Jan. 8 at Notre Dame.
Justin Brownlee finished 6-of-11 from the field to reach double-figures for the 22nd time this season with a 13-point effort. The senior is averaging 13.0 points, while shooting 50.0 percent (11-of-22) from the field in the past two games.
D.J. Kennedy made a pair of 3s for the second-straight game, finishing 2-of-2 from long range. Kennedy is shooting 57.1 percent (4-of-7) from beyond the arc in the past two games and is shooting 40.0 percent (8-of-20) from long range in the past seven games.
Sean Evans grabbed a game-high nine rebounds and added 13 points on 4-of-5 shooting from the floor. Evans is averaging 11.0 points and 9.0 rebounds in the past two games, while shooting 63.6 percent (7-of-11) from the floor and 80.0 percent (8-of-10) from the line.
Malik Boothe finished with five assists for the second-straight game and has had at least five assists in six contests this season.
In his BIG EAST Tournament debut, Dwayne Polee II grabbed his first-career postseason start and finished with two points and three rebounds in nine minutes.
Justin Burrell had two points and now has 997 career points, just three shy of becoming the 47th St. John's player to reach 1,000 points.
