St. John's had at least four players in double-figures for the fourth time this season.
Arizona represented the first of 17 opponents on the Red Storm's schedule that appeared in the 2010-11 NCAA Tournament. The Wildcats were also the first ranked opponent of the season for St. John's, which defeated six Top 25 teams a year ago.

D'Angelo Harrison made 7-of-8 free throws and scored 14 of his 16 points in the first half of action. The freshman is averaging 16.5 points in the past two contests.
Moe Harkless grabbed a career-high nine rebounds, including seven in the first half. The freshman is averaging 6.8 boards per game, tied for the team-best.
Sir'Dominic Pointer made his first-career start and finished with four points and seven rebounds in 25 minutes of action.
Phil Greene scored in double-figures for the first time with a career-high 12 points. Greene made his first-career 3-pointer and finished 2-of-2 from beyond the arc.
