QUEENS, N.Y. - Red Storm fans can check out the 2009-10 edition of the Men's Basketball Media Guide, online now at RedStormSports.com. The 2009-10 Men's Basketball Media Guide is the most complete source for 102 years of St. John's team information, the 2009-10 preview, coaching staff and student-athlete profiles, records, program history, honors and University information. A video version of the guide, named "Inside St. John's Basketball," will be available online in the coming weeks. The 2009-10 Media Guide is available for purchase at the RedStormSports.com Multimedia Store. Currently, fans can purchase the 2009-10 Men's Basketball Media Guide, the 2009-10 Women's Basketball Media Guide, GameDay: The 2009-10 Men's and Women's Basketball Yearbook, the "100 Years of St. John's Basketball" coffee table book and now - new for the 2009-10 season - full-length game DVDs for all sports, originally produced for StormTracker All-Access. Several men's and women's soccer and volleyball broadcasts are currently available in the Multimedia Store, as will be men's and women's basketball games and contests featuring St. John's spring sports as well. The 2008-09 St. John's men's basketball media guide earned "First in the District" honors from College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) District I, which is comprised of all NCAA Division I colleges and universities located in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Nova Scotia, Quebec, Newfoundland, Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick. The top honor in the Northeast followed up a "Second in the District" accolade in 2007-08. The Athletic Communications office has garnered 23 "Citations For Excellence In Publications" from the CoSIDA over the last four years, including "Eighth in the Nation" and "Second in the District" for the 2008-09 women's basketball guide, "Seventh in the Nation" for the 2008-09 Men's and Women's Basketball Yearbook, "Second In The Nation" for the 2007-08 and 2006-07 Yearbooks, and "Fourth In The Nation" for the 2005-06 Yearbook.
