QUEENS, N.Y.- For the third year in a row, from Dec. 18-21, St. John's basketball fans will have the chance to design a "Roar" with the best one going on Nike t-shirts scheduled go on sale this coming March.
What's a roar? It's the basketball fan's battle cry. This is the fan's chance to show their school pride and influence Nike product.
Fans will have a four-day window to submit their "Roars" either as a comment on the St. John's Red Storm Facebook (facebook.com/StJohnsRedStorm) and Instagram pages (instagram.com/StJohnsRedStorm) or by Tweeting using the #NikeRoar and #stjbb (twitter.com/StJohnsRedStorm).
The most creative "Roar" will be put on the t-shirt. "Roars" that feature student-athlete names, negative comments or content in support of other schools will not be considered. Shirts will go on sale just in time for March Madness on March 1.
