After winning the WGC Bridgestone Invitational in August, Bradley will begin the 2013 campaign Friday at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions.

QUEENS, N.Y. - When the 2013 PGA Tour season gets underway over the next few weeks, the St. John's men's golf program will be well represented as the two winningest golfers in school history - Andrew Svoboda and Keegan Bradley - tee it up together as full members of the world's top golf tour.
"I can't put into words how proud I am to have two St. John's players on the PGA Tour," St. John's head coach Frank Darby said. "Keegan has played great in his two years and now it's time for Andrew to shine."
Svoboda, a 2003 alumnus who won a school-record 13 titles while St. John's, earned his 2013 PGA Tour card by finishing inside the top-25 of the Web.com Tour's 2012 money list.
"Andrew is one of the best ball strikers I have ever played with," 2002 STJ alumnus Joe Saladino said. "He's been so good for so long that many of us felt he would get here one day, and to see his perseverance pay off is a real tribute to him."
When the two former Red Storm stars tee it up this season, they will make St. John's the only program in the BIG EAST and one of just 34 across the nation to feature multiple former players on the PGA Tour as full-time members.
"It takes a special kind of player to play in the Northeast and make it to the PGA Tour like Andrew and Keegan have done; one who has a lot of perseverance, who is hungrier and more determined," Mike Diffley, a 1982 men's golf alumnus and St. John's Athletics Hall of Famer, said. "With the way that Frank is recruiting great players, I don't see the pipeline to the top tours stopping anytime soon. If you're a top golfer who wants to play in the Northeast, St. John's is the place to be."
Bradley, who is second all-time with nine collegiate victories, followed the same path as Svoboda through the 2010 then-Nationwide Tour to claim his 2011 PGA Tour exemption. Bradley has since gone on to win three tournaments in two years including the 2011 PGA Championship, take home the 2011 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year award and become one of the faces of American golf as a member of the 2012 United States Ryder Cup team.
After winning the WGC Bridgestone Invitational on August 5, Bradley secured his spot in the 2013 Hyundai Tournament of Champions, and will begin his season on January 4th, teeing off at 10:55 at the Plantation Course at Kapalua.
Svoboda will then make his PGA Tour debut the following week at the Waialae Country Club in Honolulu, Hawaii as part of the Sony Open in Hawaii beginning on January 10. Following the Sony Open, RedStormSports.com will unveil a new "Red Storm on the PGA Tour Tracker" with up-to-date results, video highlights and other information about the success of the STJ men's golf program on the world's biggest stage.
