QUEENS, N.Y. - The St. John's lacrosse program has rescheduled its first-ever Lacrosse Season Kick-Off Party for Friday, Feb. 22 from 6-9 p.m. at Croton Reservoir Tavern in Manhattan due to the expected snowstorm for the New York area this weekend.
The event was originally scheduled for this Friday night, Feb. 8, but the forecasted snow caused the date change. The venue and time remain the same for the event.
All alumni, family, friends and fans of the program are welcome to celebrate the past, present and future of Red Storm lacrosse and are encouraged to attend the home opener against Yale the following day, Saturday, Feb. 23 at Dasilva Memorial Field in Queens, N.Y.
Tickets for the event will cost $80 and includes food and drinks throughout the event. Dress for the event is casual. Also, a number of items will be raffled off to help support the program.
The Croton Reservoir Tavern is located at 108 W. 40th Street (between 6th and Broadway), New York, N.Y. The restaurant/bar is located just minutes from Bryant Park and Times Square and is walking distance from the B,D,F,M and N,Q,R subway lines.
