St. John's Advances To BIG EAST Championship Semifinals With 4-1 Win Over Marquette

Red Storm will play two-time defending champion Louisville in semifinal matchup.

Fall 2011: Named the October BIG EAST Male Tennis Player of the Month ... became the first St. John's tennis player to qualify for the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championship ... compiled a team-best 15-5 record in singles play and an 8-2 mark in doubles action ... picked up wins over nationally ranked opponents from Texas A&M and Texas Tech at the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championship (Nov. 3-6) to reach the consolation bracket semifinals ... earned an automatic bid to the event with six-straight victories to claim the ITA Northeast Regional Championship (Oct. 14-18) ... paired with classmate Mike Lampa to win the top doubles flight championship at the Fall Columbia Classic (Oct. 7-9) ... reached the championship match of the second doubles flight at the USTA Men's College Invitational (Sept. 23-25) ... claimed the singles tournament title at the Princeton/Farnsworth Invitational (Sept. 16-18) with four-straight set victories in a row in his first tournament with the Red Storm.
