QUEENS, N.Y. – The St. John’s men’s tennis team will continue its four-match homestand on Sunday, Feb. 9 as they welcome George Washington to the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center for a match at 4 p.m. The Red Storm (2-1, 1-0 BIG EAST) is coming off its biggest win of the 2014 season to date, a 4-3 victory over BIG EAST foe DePaul on Jan. 31.

Since debuting at No. 74 in the ITA Rankings, George Washington has started the season 0-2 with losses to No. 45 BYU and No. 62 Cornell. The Colonials are led by senior Nikita Fomin, who is ranked No. 124 in ITA singles rankings. The Colonials topped St. John’s last season, 5-2, in the final match of the regular season.
