QUEENS, N.Y. - After taking two weeks off following a perfect opening weekend in West Point, the St. John’s men’s tennis team returns to the court on Friday for its second fall tournament of the season at the Farnsworth Invitational hosted by Princeton.
How It Works
The tournament is comprised of 14 schools: Bryant, Columbia, Drexel, Fairleigh Dickinson, Hofstra, Lehigh, Marist, Middlebury, Monmouth, NJIT, Princeton, St. John’s, Temple, and defending national team champion Virginia. Both Friday and Saturday will have two rounds of singles and one round of doubles each day while Sunday will have one round of singles and two rounds of doubles. The event is named in honor of late Princeton tennis alumnus, All-America honoree, and Navy lieutenant Ted Farnsworth. Matches will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Friday.
