As a Sophomore in 2016-17: Played and started 33 games for the Red Storm … Named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll three times … Ranked second on the team with 11.3 points per game … Led the BIG EAST in three-point field goal percentage, knocking down shots from behind the arc at a 45.8 percent clip … Shot 43.0 percent from the field overall … Also grabbed 3.6 rebounds in 29.9 minutes per game … Scored 19 points on 7-of-12 shooting from the field and hit 5-of-7 from long distance against Miami (Nov. 20) … Followed that with a 20-point effort against Virginia in Las Vegas (Nov. 25) … Scored 19 points while hitting 6-of-7 from behind the arc against Rutgers (Dec. 7) … Scored 12 points and grabbed nine rebounds at Seton Hall (Dec. 30) … Went a perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line in a 15-point outing against DePaul (Jan. 10) … Scored 20 points on 8-of-13 shooting against Providence (Jan. 22) … Scored 19 points on 7-of-11 shooting from the floor and hit 4-of-7 from behind the arc against Georgetown (Feb. 12) … Scored 18 points and had three assists against Sacred Heart (Mar. 17).As a Freshman in 2015-16: Played in all 33 games for the Red Storm during her rookie campaign, averaging 5.0 points and 2.4 rebounds in 19.5 minutes per contest… Scored nine points and grabbed six rebounds in her collegiate debut at UCLA (Nov. 13)… Tallied 11 points and four rebounds against UC Irvine (Nov. 15)… Scored a season-high 17 points and pulled down five rebounds against Sacred Heart (Dec. 3)… Netted 11 points against Yale (Dec. 9)… Tied a season-high with six rebounds at Duquesne (Dec. 19)… Tallied nine points against Marquette (Jan. 5)… Scored eight points against Butler (Jan. 22)… Made it two-straight games with eight points against Xavier (Jan. 24)… Had six points and six rebounds at Xavier (Feb. 19)… Scored eight points at Butler (Feb. 21)… Registered five points and six rebounds against Providence (Feb. 26)… Came up huge in her hometown during the BIG EAST Semifinals; made all three of her field goal attempts, including two three-pointers, and drained all four of her free throw tries to finish with 12 points in an upset victory over top-seeded DePaul (March 7).

Led the team to a 20-6 record as a junior captain under Coach Reggie Dawson... Ranked 17th nationally at her position by ESPN Hoopgurlz... Named All-City and Second Team All-State as a senior... Captained team to a 20-8 record, inlcuding a 6-2 mark in conference... Propelled the Eagles to the Chicago Public League Championship Game in 2013-14... In the semifinal, Wellere paced a Brooks comeback, finishing the game with an astounding 37 points and nine rebounds.. During her junior season, Wellere averaged 26.7 points, 12.4 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game, scoring in excess of 40 twice and recording three triple-doubles... Named First Team All-City and Second Team All-State as a junior.
