QUEENS, N.Y. - The most decorated player in the history of St. John's Women's Soccer, Rachel Daly has earned an invitation to training camp with the English Women's National Team beginning this weekend in La Manga, Spain.

England will primarily use the camp to prepare for the SheBelieves Cup, which will send the Lionesses stateside in March. They will face France in Columbus, Ohio, on March 1 before heading to the Tri-State Area for a showdown with Germany on March 4 at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, N.J. The Lionesses will conclude play at the SheBelieves Cup three days later in Orlando, where they will take on the United States. 30 players have been invited to training camp with the intention of competing for a roster spot in the SheBelieves Cup.

Daly is no stranger to the Lionesses, earning a number of caps for the national squad after her debut in 2016. In his first international contest with England during UEFA Euro qualifying on June 4, 2016, Daly found the back of the net in a 7-0 rout of Serbia.

Since wrapping up her collegiate career in the fall of 2015, Daly has been a standout in the professional ranks for the Houston Dash of the National Women's Soccer League. As a rookie in 2016, Daly finished as a finalist for the league's rookie of the year award after tallying three goals and four assists in her debut campaign. The sixth overall pick in the 2016 NWSL Draft, Daly increased her goal scoring in 2017 with five tallies, despite splitting her time between forward and defender. She also recorded two assists on the season.

On Nov. 20, Daly signed a contract to remain with the Dash for the third-straight season in 2018.

Despite playing just three seasons for the Red Storm, Daly rewrote the St. John's record book with ease, setting school records for career goals (50) and points (111). As a senior, Daly helped the lead the Johnnies to a school-record 15 wins, the program's first BIG EAST Regular Season Championship, and a home game in the NCAA Tournament. The Harrogate, England, native ranked third nationally in goals (19), sixth in points (43) and led all Division I players with 6.0 shots per game. On the heels of five mutli-goal games, Daly was unanimously named the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Year, took home First Team NSCAA All-American honors, and finished as a semifinalist for the MAC Hermann Trophy.

As a first-year player in 2013, Daly led the Johnnies to their second-ever NCAA appearance, topping the nation and shattering the St. John's single-season record with 23 goals. As a junior in 2014, Daly found the back of the net eight times.
