Before St. John's:Was a three-year softball standout and two-year captain at Wilcox, earning Santa Clara Valley Athletic League first team honors for three straight years and helping the Chargers to three straight league titles ... as a sophomore in 2007, hit .314 with three home runs and 16 RBI earning defensive MVP of league ... as a junior in 2008, hit .418 with four homers and 20 RBI and earned second straight defensive MVP of league award ... as a senior in 2009, hit .487 with six home runs and 25 RBI ... played six years for the Sunnyvale Shockers ... was also a standout basketball player, playing four years (two years as team captain) and helping Wilcox to league championships from 2005-08 and the CCS title in 2007-08 ... played volleyball for three years serving two years as team captain.
