Kvilhaug on Dopudja entering 2009: "Stacia has been an awesome addition to our team this year from Southeast Missouri State. She is the kind of player who is constantly looking to improve. She is so strong offensively that it will be very difficult to make a lineup without her name in it. Defensively Stacia will be competing for time at first base and will give us some quality innings on the rubber as well."

As a Junior in 2009: In first season with team, played in 49 games, starting 48 and earned All-Big East Second Team honors... named to the 2008-09 BIG EAST All-Academic Team... saw game action at first base, designated hitter and pitcher... third on team in batting average (.266), RBI (19), home runs (7) and doubles (8)... fourth on team in hits (37), total bases (66) and plate appearances (153)... in first game with Red Storm, went 3-for-3 with one RBI and one HBP in win vs. Temple (Feb. 13)... had season-best hitting performance in win vs. Louisville (March 28), going 4-for-4 with three RBI... started season with eight-game hit streak (Feb. 13-22)... appeared in two games as a pitcher, including one start...threw six innings and totaled six strikeouts.

Before St. John's: Transfer from Southeast Missouri ... started in 100 games for the Redhawks and held a .289 batting average over two seasons ... hit 12 home runs in her rookie season ... third on the team with 28 RBI in 2008 ... named to OVC All-Newcomer team in 2007 after leading the team with 52 hits, 11 doubles and 40 RBI ... four-year letterwinner at Santa Margarita Catholic ... team captain as a junior and senior.
