No. 18/18 USF Takes Two From St. John's In Florida

Red Storm and Bulls will have a rematch Saturday at 1 p.m.

As a freshman in 2011: Appeared in 19 games, making six starts ... led team with 2.55 ERA ... recorded 31 strikeouts, while allowing opposing batters to hit just .288 ... got the first win of career after allowing no earned runs in six strong innings against St. Francis(March 5) ... pitched seven innings, recording eight strikeouts against Quinnipiac (March 11) ... followed that with another seven-inning performance against Binghamton (March 18), where she allowed just one run ... gave up just one run in 6.2 innings during the second game of the Villanova double-header (April 14).

Before St. John's: Played softball at Taconic Hills from 2007-10 and had an outstanding senior campaign in 2010, going 16-3 over 22 starts with a 0.42 ERA and 287 strikeouts ... also batted a team-best .368 as a senior with three home runs and 20 RBI ... finished high school career as Taconic Hills' all-time leader in strikeouts with 1,122 ... led team to the Section II finals in 2010 and back-to-back Patroon Conference titles in 2009-10 ... was named Patroon Conference MVP for three straight years (2008-10) and was a Patroon Conference first team All-Star in 2007 ... as a senior, garnered 2010 Post-Star Class B All-State first team honors and was a Bergen Record 2010 All-Area Honorable Mention ... earned the Ailen Durrant Award in 2010 and was the softball team's MVP from 2007-10 ... also played basketball in 2008 ... was a member of the Select Choir from 2008-10.

Personal: Born in Great Barrington, Mass. ... parents are Ezra and Kristine Link ... has two younger sisters, Michelle and Kathleen ... also plays basketball, volleyball, badminton, field hockey and soccer ... plans to major in business.
