Softball Looking To Reach $30,000 Goal For 100-Out Fundraiser|
Oct. 9, 2013
QUEENS, N.Y. – The St. John’s softball team will host the Eighth Annual 100-Out Game at Red Storm Field on Friday, Oct. 11 to help raise money for an indoor batting facility.
Throughout the fall, the Red Storm will be participating in a fundraising campaign to construct an indoor batting facility that will allow student-athletes to train year round and continually develop their skills. With a starting goal of $30,000, head coach Amy Kvilhaug and the rest of the St. John’s softball program are looking for help from fans, parents, and businesses to sponsor the team per-out or with a flat-fee donation.
The 100-Out Game consists of a simulated scrimmage in which the team is split into two squads that compete until 100 outs are recorded. If interested in supporting the St. John’s softball team in the Eighth Annual 100-Out Game, contact Coach Kvilhaug at firstname.lastname@example.org.
