Sean Roker joined the St. John's women's tennis program in the summer of 2010 under head coach Gemma Alexander-Mozeak. He served as a volunteer assistant coach for the fall semester, before being hired as a graduate assistant coach in January 2011. In his first season at St. John's, the Red Storm compiled an 11-win season - marking the fourth-consecutive season with double-digit victories - and placed ninth at the annual BIG EAST Conference Championship. Prior to joining the Red Storm, Roker attended Carnegie Mellon University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in economics in 2009. Roker has over 17 years of combined tennis coaching and playing experience as he's served as both an adult and youth tennis instructor as well as competed at the high school level at Stuyvesant High School in New York, N.Y. While at Stuyvesant, Roker competed at international tournaments such as a duel against The Lawn and Tennis Association Club - the British equivalent to the United States Tennis Association - in London, England. Born in Los Angeles, Calif., Roker is currently pursuing a master's of business administration in marketing management at St. John's.
