Junior Diamond Adams will look to capitalize on her successful fall season in the first match against BU.

QUEENS, N.Y.– With her first fall season under her belt, head coach Taka Bertrand will now guide her team through her first spring season at the helm of the Red Storm women’s tennis team.
St. John’s first match of the spring will be tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. when the Red Storm takes on the Terriers of Boston University at 10:00 a.m.
Along with Bertrand, this spring will also be the first for Mississippi St. transfer Khrystyna Pavlyuk, and freshmen Kendra Spencer-Cole and Amber Washington. Washington is coming a fall season that saw her claim the consolation championship at the Cissie Leary Invitational and a singles title at the USTA/ITA Women’s Northeast Regional Championship.
Led by seniors Nevena Selakovic and Ksenia Mikhaylova, St. John’s will look to improve on last year’s ninth place finish in the BIG EAST.
