2016 BIG EAST Indoor T&F Championships Day One

As a Sophomore (2015-16): Selected as a member of the BIG EAST All-Academic Team … Earned All-BIG EAST Indoor Team Honors after a silver medal winning performance in the pentathlon … Indoor Track- 60-meter dash: set a personal-best time of 8.02 seconds to finish sixth at the Princeton Meet (Jan. 8) … 200-meter dash: recorded three top-10 finishes including a personal-best time of 26.11 seconds for seventh at the Fordham Season Opener (Dec. 4) … High Jump: finished with three top-10 finishes … finished sixth at the Monmouth Invite with a season-best mark of 1.60 meters … Pentathlon: won a bronze and silver medal in the event … earned All-BIG EAST honors after finished second at the BIG EAST Championships (Feb. 26) with a personal-best mark of 3226 … Outdoor Track- 200-meter dash: recorded a personal-best time of 25.81 seconds to finish fifth at the Stony Brook invite (April 23) … Heptathlon: recorded a personal-best mark of 3893 points to finish fourth at the BIG EAST Championships (May 14) … High Jump: recorded four top-10 finishes in all four tries at the event … tied a personal-best mark of 1.55 meters three separate times.

As a Freshmen (2014-15): Named to the All-BIG EAST Indoor Team after pacing third in the pentathlon … selected as a member of the BIG EAST All-Academic Team … Indoor Track – High Jump: Began her St. John’s career with a fifth place finish at the Princeton Women’s Quad Meet where she jumped 1.62 meters (Jan. 9) … jumped 1.62 meters again at the St. Joseph’s Winter Invitational to take home a silver medal (Jan. 17) … jumped a personal best 1.65 meters at the Armory Track Invitational to finish 34th overall (Jan. 30-31) … took home a bronze medal at the NYC Metropolitan Championships when she jumped 1.61 meters (Feb. 5-6) … finished in fourth place at the BIG EAST Indoor Championships with a jump of 1.49 meters (Feb. 28- March 1) … 4x200-meter relay: ran in the event just once and won a gold medal at the St. Joseph’s Winter Invitational (Jan. 17) … 60-Meter Hurdles: took home fifth place after running a personal best time of 9.12 seconds at the Monmouth University Winter Collegiate Open (Feb. 14) … 55-Meter Hurdles: ran in this event just one time and finished fourth at the NYC Metropolitan Championships (Feb. 5-6) with a time of 8.76 seconds … Pentathlon: Took home the bronze medal at the NYC Metropolitan Championships with a total score of 3,218 points to earn a personal best finish on the season (Feb. 5-6) … also finished in third place at the BIG EAST Indoor Championships with a total score of 2,995 points … scored 3,159 points in the pentathlon at the ECAC Indoor Championships to finish 12th overall (March 6) … Outdoor Track – 100-Meter Hurdles: ran a 15.67 seconds time at the Larry Ellis (College) Meet to finish 28th overall (April 17-18) … ran a personal best time of 15.34 (May 1-2) seconds at the Tom Farrell Classic to finish in third place overall … 4x100-meter relay: was a member of the Red Storm 4x100-meter relay which took home a gold medal at the Tom Farrell Classic with a time of 47.20 seconds (May 1-2) … High Jump: jumped only twice this season including a gold medal winning performance of 1.60 meters at the Tom Farrell Classic (May 1-2)

At Fundação Evangélica de Novo: A short-sprint and high-jump specialist with considerable internationl experience ... ranked as one of the top 100-meter, 200-meter and high jump youth competitors in her native Brazil while competing for her high school team, IENH ... achieved personal bests of 11.81 seconds for 100-meters, 24.31 seconds for 200-meters and 1.75 meters in the high jump ... posted the third fastest 100-meter and 200-meter times among all Brazilian youth athletes in 2011 ... represented her country at the 2011 Athletics World Youth Championship in Lille, France, placing 14th in the 100-meter dash and helping Brazil place 9th in the medley relay ... awarded the Distinction Athlete of Adult Category in 2012 ... set Rio Grande do Sul State youth and junior category records in the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes in 2011.
