Before St. John's: Brooks was a three-year letterwinner at Victory Valley High School...As a senior, named Daily Press Girls Volleyball and Desert Sky League Player of the Year...Also, honored on the Second Team All-CIF and First Team All-League...Led her team to the DSL Championship and into the second round of the CIF Southern Section Division II-A playoffs...Named First Team All-League again as a junior and was an honorable mention selection as a sophomore...Team's Most Valuable Player as a junior and senior and the squad's defensive player of the year as a sophomore.
