Bryan Weber joined the Red Storm program as an assistant coach midway through the 2014 season. He is responsible for scouting opponents and making sure the team is properly prepared for upcoming matches. Weber also conducts various drills in practice and assists with keeping statistics during matches.
During Weber's tenure as an assistant coach for the Red Storm, he has coached four All-BIG EAST First Team selections, two AVCA Honorable Mention East Coast Region honorees and two All-BIG EAST Second Team members.
Prior to joining St. John's, Weber was a volunteer assistant coach for the 2014 SUNY New Paltz men's team, who appeared in their first NCAA tournament in program history and advanced to the national semifinals. Under the guidance of Weber, the team led the nation in three statistical categories, assists per set (12.3), kills per set (13.3) and winning percentage (.875). He also coached three AVCA Division III All-Americans and the AVCA Newcomer of the Year during his time with the Hawks. Weber also has coaching experience at both high school and middle school levels.
Weber was an outside hitter on the SUNY New Paltz men's volleyball team where he was named to the SUNYAC All-Academic Team. In addition, he is a former member of Long Island Volleyball Club where he held the position of outside hitter and team captain for three years.
Weber is a 2013 graduate of SUNY New Paltz, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.
