2014 Season Preview

The 2014 St. John's volleyball season begins on Friday, Aug. 29, with the Bryant Invitational in Smithfield, R.I. The home opener is on Monday, Sept. 1 against St. Peter's in Taffner Field House (Rec side). The Carnesecca Arena opener is on Friday, Sept. 12 against Dartmouth.

As A Redshirt Junior (2015): Played in 68 sets across 27 matches, making two starts … had a total of six service aces … collected 85 digs on the season with 1.25 digs per set … matched a career-high for the third time with one kill at Saint Mary’s (Sept. 5).

As A Junior (2014):
A redshirt season.

As A Sophomore (2013): Played in 80 sets across 25 matches ... collected 11 service aces and 33 digs on the season and only one return error in 12 attempts ... notched a season-high two service aces in a win against Fordham (Sept. 17) ... earned two assists in four sets played in a win at Northeastern (Sept. 22).

As A Freshman (2012): Played in 56 sets across 18 matches, making one start ... collected the fifth-highest digs per set average (1.18) on the squad ... notched a dig vs. then-No. 10 Louisville in the BIG EAST quarterfinals (Nov. 16) ... picked up a pair of service aces and four digs in a road win at Rutgers (Nov. 7) ... had seven digs on the road at Marquette (Nov. 4) ... racked up a season-high four service aces and 12 digs in four-set win vs. Seton Hall (Oct. 26) ... collected six kills vs. then-No. 15 Louisville (Oct. 12) ... contributed her second kill of the season, while adding a pair of service aces and four digs in a road win at DePaul (Oct. 6) ... had three service aces and eight digs in a five-set win vs. Villanova (Sept. 23) ... picked up her first-career kill and added a pair of digs vs. NJIT (Sept. 15).

At Stuyvesant: A member of the Vixens volleyball team from 2008-11, captaining the squad in 2011 ... led the Vixens to four straight perfect 12-0 regular seasons ... guided the Vixens to the PSAL semifinals in 2010 and 2011 ... played outside hitter despite being 5-foot-4.

Off the Court: Chose St. John's for its volleyball team and pharmacy program ... majoring in pharmacy with an expected graduation date of 2018 ... a Sunday School teacher's aide at the First Baptist Church of Flushing ... her parents, Donald and Tiffany, both played volleyball at Baruch College ... has one brother, Nathaniel.
