As A Sophomore (2013):
Competed twice for the Red Storm ... recorded a time of 17:58.76 for 4K in a 66th-place finish at the season-opening SJU-Hofstra Fall XC Festival (Sept. 7) ... placed 53rd overall in a time of 20:51.52 for 5K at the LIU Post Invitational (Sept. 15).

As A Freshman (2012): Competed only in track & field.

At Notre Dame Academy: Starred in track & field all four years ... graduated as the Notre Dame Academy record-holder in the 400-meters and 600-meters ... ranked 26th in the nation and 15th in the state in the 600-meters ... member of the distance medley relay team that became the first team in Staten Island to compete at the Penn Relays Championship of America in over a decade ... achieved the Eastern State Championship in the 400-meters in 2012 and the 4x400-meters ... named a Staten Island Advance All-Star in 2011 and 2012 ... honored as outdoor track & field Team MVP in 2010 ... ran on the 2011 Staten Island Cross Country Championship team.

Personal: Daughter of Alberto and Youree Garcia, both 1988 graduates of St. John's and members of the track & field program ... has three siblings, Brianne (16), Ariella (13) and Sofia (10) ... enjoys painting, reading and listening to music ... majoring in psychology with the goal of becoming a physical or occupational therapist ... chose to come to St. John's because of its well-rounded combination of academics, athletics and Vincentian values ... recruited by Fordham University, University of Albany, Monmouth University and Sacred Heart University.
