St. John's Cross Country Set To Host 2011 Fall Festival

Annual home meet at Cunningham Park in Queens celebrates Red Storm track & field history.

As A Freshman: Developed into one of the top performers on the team during the course of the season ... finished 11^th overall in her first career race at the 5K C.W. Post Invite (Sept. 18) with a time of 19:58.90 ... recorded a 14:48.53 to mark her best 4K time of the season at the STJ Fall Festival (Oct. 17) ... led the team at the 6K NCAA Northeast Regionals (Nov. 13) with a time of 22:59 ... earned her season best 5K time at the ECAC Championships (Nov. 20) with a 19:19 performance ... represented St. John's at the USATF Junior Cross Country Championships (Feb. 5) in San Diego.

Before St. John's: Lettered five years in track and cross country at Niskayuna High School ... served as cross country team captain in 2009 ... named Section 2 All Star in track in 2007-08 and in cross country in 2005 and 2008 ... holds six school records in outdoor and two in indoor competition ... finished 13th in the two mile race at the NIKE Indoor Nationals ... served as treasurer and president of Youth to Youth ... was treasurer of the Multicultural Society ... member of the National Honor Society.
