Red Storm Cross Country Takes The St. John's Fall Festival Team Title

Senior Nicole Cocozza wins the women's individual championship with her record performance.

As A Junior (2010): Placed top five on the team in every meet ... finished 9^th overall at the 5K C.W. Post Invite (Sept. 18) with a time of 19:55.26 ... was the third St. John's runner to finish at the 4K STJ Fall Festival (Oct. 17) by running a 14:40.05 ... ran the 6K NCAA Northeast Regionals (Nov. 13) at a season-best pace of 23:47 ... set a career-best 5K mark of 19:09 at the ECAC Championships (Nov. 20).

As A Sophomore (2009): Missed part of the season due to injury ... finished first overall at the Hofstra Invitational 5K (Sept. 5) with a season-best time of 19:58 ... placed second on the team with a 19:59 at the 5K Metropolitan Championships (Oct. 9) ... clocked in at 26:02 in her only 6K race of the season, the BIG EAST Championships (Oct. 31).

As A Freshman (2008): Finished in the top five on the team in the 4K, 5K and 6K distances ... set a season-best time of 19:40.0 at the 5K Metropolitan Championships (Oct. 10), finishing 15th overall ... finished in the Top 100 at the 6K BIG EAST Championships (Oct. 31) with a time of 23:39 ... participated in the USA Jr. Cross Country Championships.
