About Red Storm Cheerleading
The St. John’s Cheerleading Team represents Division I, Big East Athletics in New York City! Red Storm Athletics teams are amongst the most prominent in the nation, and our cheerleaders are afforded the opportunity to cheer for our teams in the World’s Most Famous Arena, Madison Square Garden! In addition to cheering at the Garden, our team supports our teams throughout post season tournaments traveling around the country.
As New York’s Team, St. John’s Athletics has opened the doors for many opportunities alongside the program such as television appearances, commercial appearances, and more! Our team is no stranger to the media! You can always find us on TV for any St. John’s basketball game!
Our program currently consists of twenty female team members that not only values the importance of our sport, but also the importance of academics and succeeding in the future. In addition to sports appearances, the St. John’s Cheerleading team supports many fundraisers and charity causes throughout the season.
