As A Freshman In 2006: Ranked third on the team
in assists with three on the season … made two starts and appeared
in 16 games … found her niche taking corner kicks with her left
foot and free kicks from the right side of the field … notched the
first points of her career in the Red Storm’s double-overtime
victory at Syracuse (Sept. 15) … entered the game vs. the Orange in
the 81st minute and stepped up to take a corner kick in the 88th
minute with St. John’s trailing 2-1 … Vaila Barsley finished the
in-swinging kick to tie the game and force overtime … also had
assists against Pittsburgh (Sept. 22) and South Florida (Oct. 20) …
against the Bulls, it was Lane’s corner kick that resulted in the
game-winning goal.
Before St. John’s: Was a member of the Eastern
New York South ODP State Team from 2002-05 … played club soccer for
the three-time State Cup Champion ISA East Meadow Magic … two-time
State Cup Finalist … played for W.T. Clarke High School and was an
All Class A selection in 2004 … named All Conference A Nassau
County in 2003 … sister Ashley is a standout for the Hofstra
softball team.
