As a Freshman in 2006: Saw valuable
time in the diamond for the Red Storm … had her first collegiate at
bat against Fairleigh Dickinson on March 22 … was slowed by an
ankle injury.
Before St. John’s: Earned
three varsity letters as the left fielder for the Mater Dei
Monarchs … Hit a sacrafice fly to score the winning run at the 2005
Ramada Tournament of Champions, leading the team to a third place
finish … during her senior year, worked for a career-high .444
batting average … four-year Scholar Athlete Award recipient in high
school … played summer ball with the American Athletics.
Personal: Born on May 9, 1987
… parents are Mike and Robin … chose St. John’s because she
believed it offered a unique experience she wouldn’t find out west
… made honor roll throughout her high school career … volunteered
for the Special Olympics for three years … pregame ritual includes
a prayer and putting her uniform on the same way … plans to major
in communications.

Struble because she always turns a negative situation into a

Goals for this season: To
make it back to the BIG EAST tournament.
Teammate that will surprise you this
season: Shauntaine Harris. She showed great leadership
in the fall and I think it will show in the spring.
