As a Junior in 2006: Registered a career high 34 runs … led the team in doubles with 11 … five of her doubles came against BIG EAST opponents … hit .486 as the leadoff hitter … posted a .341 on-base percentage … was 3-for-3 in stolen bases … recorded a .946 fielding percentage as the starting second baseman … played in a career high 55 games, starting in 54 … finished the season fourth on the team in batting average, hitting .277 … went 2-for-4 against Louisville at the BIG EAST Tournament, scoring one of the Red Storm’s two runs (May 12) … collected four hits, four runs, an RBI and a double in a pair of games against Connecticut (April 26) … was 4-for-7 with three runs, one RBI and back-to-back doubles in a doubleheader against Rutgers (April 9) … recorded two runs, two hits, two RBI and a double over three at bats against Fairleigh Dickinson (March 22) … went 2-for-4 with two runs and a double against Buffalo (Feb. 24).

As a Sophomore in 2005:  Led the team with a .372 batting average, 33 runs scored, 14 doubles, three triples and a .406 on-base percentage … came in second on the team in sacrifice bunts with five and a slugging percentage of .519 … hit .421 with runners on base … tied for first in the BIG EAST with teammate Jo Sherlock in triples, second in individual hitting, third in doubles and in the top-10 for hits, runs scored, on base percentage and slugging percentage … appeared and started in 50 games … had a season high two doubles, three hits, three RBI and two runs scored in a 9-0 win against Rutgers (April 16) … went 3-for-4, with her first career home run, an RBI and two runs scored against Akron (March 13).

As a Freshman in 2004:  Appeared in and started 47 games at second base … third on the team with a .301 batting average … finished sixth in the nation with 19 sacrifices, tying the school’s single season record … fifth on the team with 23 runs scored, while also driving in nine and stealing three bases … had a season high three hits at Providence (April 4).

Before St. John’s:  A four-year letterwinner in softball at La Jolla High School … named to 2003 Western League first team … earned 2002 All-San Diego County first team, Western League Player of the Year and Western League first team honors … made 2001 Western League second team and earned honorable mention in 2000 … three-time Division III All-Coaches team selection … member of the California Scholarship Federation, for obtaining a GPA of 3.5 or better … member of the 2001 Under-16 Southern California State Championship team … played for the San Diego Breakers 18 Gold club team for two years.

Personal:  Born on August 12, 1985 in San Diego, Calif. … parents are Korben Hill and Janet Mello … has an older brother Jerod (24) and younger sister Joanne (16) … chose St. John’s because of it’s location and academic reputation … majoring in psychology.
