As a Freshman in 2006: Registered
nine multi-hit games and seven multi-RBI games … led the team with
two triples and was third in doubles with eight … posted a .346
slugging percentage … was second among her class in RBI, driving in
23 runs … hit .444 with the bases loaded … started in 50 games
spending time at first base, behind the plate and as the designated
player … finished the season with 41 hits … named to the BIG EAST
honor roll on March 21 … posted a career-high five hits in a 3-2
victory over Yale (March 19) … blasted a triple and a double in her
three-hit game against St. Francis (March 15) … made an immediate
impact in her first collegiate game against Buffalo, firing a
double to score two runs for the Red Storm (Feb. 24).
Before St. John’s: Spent four
seasons as a shortstop for the Don Lugo Conquistadores … captained
her senior season … batted .415 with five homers, 20 RBIs and 24
runs in 2005 … earned first team all-league honors during
sophomore, junior and senior campaigns … named to second team
All-CIF (California Interscholastic Federation) her sophomore and
senior years … awarded as Scholar Athlete all four years … took
team MVP title in 2003 … Conquistadores were Mount Badly League
Champions in 2003, 2004 and 2005 … saw action as a catcher,
shortstop and third baseman in summer play for Teamsmith
Gold.
