DeMayo, a speech-language pathology major, says that one of the
most memorable events in her life was practicing in Japan under
former U.S. Women’s national team coach Arie Selinger ... one of
her most thrilling moments in her athletic career was playing
against Minnesota in the first round of the 2004 NCAA tournament
... when not on the court, DeMayo enjoys reading, dancing,
ceramics, creating mosaics and learning new languages ... her
favorite professional team is Real Madrid and her favorite
professional athlete is Oded Katash, an Israeli basketball
player.
