Personal
A sport management major, Kovaleva chose St. John's because of its
academic and athletic programs. When she's not on the court,
Kovaleva enjoys snowboarding, traveling, dancing and shoppin. The
most thrilling moment in her athletic career was winning first
place at the International Junior Games in 2002 and winning the
Russian Championships in 2004. Kovaleva's favorite TV shows are
King of Queens and American's Next Top Model, and her favorite
animal is her pet turtle, Lucky.
